Going to take a stab at Belmont today. Expecting an off track.
Race 1
Although GOOD AND GONE has excuses for not making a late move in her debut, I'm not convinced she can do it today either. AWESOME POWERS is dropping after making a very nice closing move in the slop and should be running similar here. The wildcard is GOTCHA COVERED. I expect a much better effort, and would probably back her given a fast track - but not if it's wet.

Race 2
I was very disappointed in I'M UGLY BUT FAST's last race as I backed her at Keeneland and she never got involved. FORTY MOVES has been working very, very well for Hennig and must be given a shot. As such, I can't ignore that 36 flat from DEE DEE'S WILDCAT.
The bet: $2 trifecta 8/4,5,6 $10 WPS #4
Race 3
VENGANZA DULCE broke his maiden on the turf to dirt move and now tries it again with a double drop thown in for good measure. There should be enough pace for him to at least get a nibble.

I keep getting attracted to longshots today and like another here in CLARKSBURG QUEEN. She has Storm Cat influence so should love the rain and has an excellent work tab - just wish the connections were better.
